Terms of service
Last updated 6 November 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Tann Clan Ltd (England & Wales), which runs Hefti (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Hefti you agree to them. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you're allowed to agree for that business.
1. What Hefti is
Hefti is an online service that gives your business a team of AI helpers (“agents”). They can chat with you, remember what you tell them, connect to apps you choose, and do jobs for you, some of them on a schedule.
2. Your account
- Give us true details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your login.
- You can invite teammates. You decide what they can see and do, and you're responsible for them using Hefti properly.
- Tell us straight away at support@hefti.ai if you think someone has got into your account.
3. Using Hefti properly
Don't use Hefti to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, infringe other people's rights, get around our limits or security, or attack other systems. Don't use it to make decisions that have legal or similarly big effects on people without a human checking. We may pause or close accounts that do.
4. AI output: check before you rely on it
AI can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Hefti asks for your OK before many actions, but you're responsible for checking what your agents write and do on your behalf, especially anything sent to customers, money, legal or health matters. Hefti is not a substitute for professional advice.
5. Connected apps
When you connect another app (for example email, calendar, Slack or Telegram), you allow Hefti to use it within the permissions you give. Those apps have their own terms. You can disconnect them at any time from Apps & connections.
6. Your content
What you put into Hefti stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Hefti for you (including sending it to the AI model providers listed in our Privacy policy). We don't use your content to train our own AI models, and we don't sell it.
7. Plans, limits and payment
Hefti is invite-only at the moment. Plan prices and fair-use limits are shown on our pricing page. If we start charging you, we'll tell you the price before you pay, and you can cancel before then. Fair-use limits (for example a daily AI spend cap per business) protect the service and may change.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Hefti running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or improve features. If we make a big change to these terms, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it applies.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using Hefti at any time and ask us to delete your business by emailing support@hefti.ai. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms, after warning you where we reasonably can.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, data or business, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of what you paid us in that period and £100. If you use Hefti as a consumer, you keep your statutory rights.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
